A linen press is a traditional cupboard that was meant for linens and was similar in size to a regular cupboard or armoire. In the old world, these were used for storing household linen and its origins date as far back as the 17th century. Modern linen cupboards have since become a very common piece of furniture, especially throughout Europe and the US.
