A superb miniature Dutch Bureau dating from the late 19th Century in exotic veneers inlaid with floral marquetry panels. The cylinder fall sits over a slide which in turn sits over two bombe' shaped drawers with architectural corners all supported on turned bun feet. The fall opens to reveal an arrangement of drawers and pigeon holes in a serpentine configuration incorporating a writing slide all profusley enriched with floral inlay. The bureau cabinet served as a portable miniature writing desk.
